Techie types use a lot of battery power. A portable charger is an excellent gift idea for your loved one. This one from Anker has a ton of excellent reviews and works for both Android and Apple products. There’s another offering from Jackery that also has great reviews and has charging cables built right in. And finally, Anker has another charger that’s a little cuter than the other one we mentioned and is super portable as well.

A smart clock

We all know that staring at our phones right before bed isn’t the best idea. The next-best option? A smart clock. The Amazon Echo Spot is compact and fits right on a nightstand, and the LaMetric clock is easy to use and completely customizable.

Bluetooth speaker

A Bluetooth speaker makes an excellent gift that your techie partner will love. Look for ones with a big range and plenty of playing time (if wireless) so they (and you!) can enjoy tunes far into the night. We found a few, including one from Tribit that offers 360-degree surround sound, and an Anker variety that’s pretty inexpensive without losing a lot of the features of more expensive types.
