When your sweet tooth hungers for a candy bar, make our copycat Snickers bar! Inspired by A Treat’s Affair, satisfy your craving with a homemade confection that tastes even better than the grocery store checkout line temptation.
Why do we love Snickers bars? Besides the comical commercials and recent wrapper sayings, these candy bars make you feel like you’re eating a substantial snack that keeps your blood sugar (somewhat) balanced longer than the other-named competing candy bars. Packed with peanuts and nougat, enrobed in chocolate, these bars handle your hunger while you handle life, right? Right.
Though we will never get the specific recipe from Mars, Inc. for the original Snickers, we certainly succeeded in making a copycat candy bar that rivals the mass-produced version. Since we’re not good at keeping secrets, we need to share our homemade Snickers bar recipe with you! We suggest that you make several batches and give these copycat Snickers to your closest candy-loving friends and family members. You’ll be proclaimed as their sweet tooth satisfying hero!
We’re not going to claim that this is a fuss-free recipe, but we will guarantee that once you master the copycat layering technique, you’ll want to make these candy bars every week!
