If you have someone you want to be your, be your little baby — or perhaps they already are — treat them to dinner and a movie, Dirty Dancing-style. This tale of Frances “Baby” Houseman (Jennifer Grey) falling in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) at a summer camp in the Catskills never gets old.

Strawberry-watermelon chicken salad sure seems like something they’d serve to the ritzy guests at Kellerman’s, doesn’t it? Plus, one ingredient in particular pays tribute to an oft-quoted Baby line: “I carried a watermelon.”

Ever the bleeding heart Baby makes a point about American waste and indulgence by suggesting the resort send its leftover pot roast to Southeast Asia to feed starving children.
