A peek into my Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year, partially because of the cool fall weather… but mostly because of the food! It’s when I replace no-bake recipes and salads with comfort foods made from cinnamon, caramel, sweet potatoes, apples, and pumpkin spice. The best part about fall baking is that when you’re done, your entire kitchen smells like a giant cinnamon roll!
I try to stretch out Thanksgiving to make it last for the whole month of November, because who could ever complain about more Thanksgiving food?! This means more cranberry sauce, more homemade gravy, more green bean casserole, and — above all — more pumpkin pie.
And then for dessert, either the Healthy Pumpkin Pie or Impossible Pumpkin Pie with Coconut Ice Cream, because pumpkin pie with ice cream is even better than with whipped cream!
