Inevitably, the relationship between a dad and a child changes as you both get older. For me, age has brought distance, new jobs, health scares, many crying phone calls, laughter-filled reunions, and everything in between. Despite living miles and miles apart, my dad and I have kept up that special bond (thank you, FaceTime!).
